Patrick is a product positioning and marketing strategy expert, and has worked with dozens of entrepreneurs helping them to quickly and more efficiently grow their businesses and raise needed growth capital.

Patrick has over 15 years experience as a CEO at three different companies, and over a decade of prior experience in senior positions at AMD, C-Cube Microsystems, and LSI Logic. As the CEO of Entropic Communications, Patrick took the company from pre-product and pre-revenue to a successful IPO on NASDAQ, and an eventual $1 billion valuation. Patrick has raised over $200 million of equity capital for his companies, and executed on over $2 billion in M&A transactions. Patrick has 25 years experience in managing high technology companies and businesses prior to forming his current company QuestFusion, a San Diego-based consulting company that provides strategic guidance to entrepreneurs.

Patrick brings a practical, disciplined, collaborative and focused problem solving approach to the executive table and the boardroom. As the founder and CEO of QuestFusion, he has a different consulting approach where he is focused on the actionability of a strategic plan, and will help CEOs and founders in the development and execution of their strategy.

Patrick was the winner of the 2008 Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year award for Technology, the San Diego Daily Transcript 2008 Top Influentials, and 2011 San Diego Business Journal Most Admired CEO.

Patrick is a regular contributor to Inc Magazine, Entrepreneur, Huffington Post, and FastCompany. He is the author of the critically acclaimed PLAN COMMIT WIN: 90 Days to Creating a Fundable Startup. Patrick’s blog, The Real Deal…What Matters, featured on his website questfusion.com covers various aspects of startup life, leadership, and how to build and finance growth companies.

Patrick is a former board member and advisor to EvoNexus, a San Diego non-profit trade organization and technology company incubator and accelerator, and a mentor at Chairmen’s Roundtable. Patrick is involved in a number of charities and civic organizations including Compassion International, the Georgia Tech Foundation, the University of Southern California, Make-A-Wish® San Diego, Shed a Light, and the Solana Santa Fe School.

Patrick has a bachelor in Engineering Science and Mechanics with high honors from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and an MBA from the University of Southern California.
