Iwamoto Shishinjutsu Therapy
Hiro Iwamoto sensei is an acupressure specialist known for his Shishinjutsu (meaning “finger acupuncture technique”) method of therapy. He has been in the oriental medical field for over 30 years and spent 14 years teaching and researching at the University of Tsukuba, School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine for the Visually Impaired in Tokyo, Japan. In 2006, Iwamoto sensei relocated to San Diego, CA with his wife and daughter and established his own practice in 2008.
Iwamoto sensei explains that Shishinjutsu therapy is recommended if you suffer from any of the following:
- Chronic pain and discomfort such as low-back pain, arthritis, sports injuries, migraine headaches, IBS, PMS
- Mental stress, anxiety, depression, insomnia
- Physical or mental fatigue

Hiro Iwamoto is also known, both in Japan and the United States, as a motivational speaker and life coach. He was born with weak eyesight and became completely blind by age 16.
